Duc is responsible for day to day management of DNAS. Prior to the foundation of DNAS, Duc gained significant experience in legal and advisory businesses from his nearly 6 years of employment with KPMG, VILAF, VCI Legal, VinaSecurities, a subsidiary of VinaCapital and Techcombank working concurrently as a commercial lawyer, legal counsel and corporate finance consultant.

His practice focuses on corporate clients in various fields of business from commercial, taxation, construction and real estate to M&A transactions, securities, corporate finance, banking, and insurance.

In addition, Duc is also an active member of CFA and financial advisory communities in Vietnam.

  • Advising Kenmark on setting up an Industrial Zone in Hai Duong.
  • Advising NIFCO on dispute alternative resolution regarding intellectual property matters and negotiation with Vietnamese partners for intellectual property evaluation and acquisition.
  • Advising Morita on setting its fire engines joint venture in Vietnam.
  • Advising AIG on legal issues in respect of post-licensing and regulatory issuance of non-life insurance policies.
  • Advising Thai Thinh Capital on developing its residential project in Nha Trang.
  • Advising Hutchison on post-licensing and taxation issues in relation to its CDMA telecom project with Hanoi Telecom.
  • Advising Nestle Viet Nam Ltd on investment license amendment and distribution of imported commodities in Vietnam.
  • Advising Banpu Limited on strategic share sale in its calcium carbonate mining joint venture in Yen Bai.
  • Advising VinaSecurities on restructuring its business operations.
  • Participating consultant team in advising Hoa Phat Group on private placement and strategic share sale.
  • Advising Techombank’s BOD on strategic advisory agreement with McKinsey.
